Laparoscopy Surgery Training - an introduction:
• Evaluating the performance of a surgeon under training is traditionally at the
discretion of a senior surgeon evaluating the trainee.
• The methods and tools used to evaluate are subjective and could be influenced
by either the trainee or the trainer. Virtual Reality based simulator automates
the training and improves objectivity.
